DESCRIPTION

Chez Batista is a charming small hotel on the beach of Anse Takamaka, one of the most beautiful beaches of the Seychelles, in the south of Mahé. Accommodation consists of 6 superior rooms, 2 standard rooms and 2 mini-suites.

All rooms have IDD telephone, TV, airconditioning, ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom with bidet and solar water heating system, mini-fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The mini-suites have in addition a jacuzzi and sea-views. The superior rooms are set at the base of the hillside and standard rooms are set in the tropical garden.

Chez Batista's history began in 1984 with great barbecues of fresh fish caught by Batista Hortere, the owner in the waters of Anse Takamaka. It was not long before the friendly reception and excellent cooking, shaded by the palm trees lining this dream beach, made eating at Chez Baptista an irresistible ritual for tourists and locals alike. It was from there that the beach restaurant was built, followed by the accommodation units and later the restaurant enlarged. But the simple natural atmosphere survives.

With its convivial atmosphere and glorious setting, Chez Baptista Rustic Restaurant is well known for its fine cuisine, speciality seafood and popular Creole Sunday buffet.

Anse Takamaka is renowned for its white sand, smooth granite rocks and the wonders of the coral barrier reef where on can enjoy the prodigious undersea spectacle, or just swim among tropical fish and sea turtles.

The bar at Chez Baptista is open daily; bathers can sit at one of the tables beside the beach and enjoy an iced beer or freshly prepared tropical juice.

• Deposit Payment

To make a booking, 30% pre-payment (minimum 2 nights) is required by VISA or MASTERCARD credit card. Please book as soon as possible, as availability is not guaranteed until this amount is charged to your credit card by  Villa Chez Baptista .
