The most photographed of the Seychelles archipelago, La Digue is a fairytale island with huge granite boulders overlooking beautiful beaches of pure white sand. Situated a short distance from Praslin by boat, accommodation varies from the main island lodge to lovely guesthouses and self-catering options. Must do as a day trip from Mahé for those on a budget or overnight stays for those seeking a tranquile get-away-from-it-all holiday, with the main form of transport by bicycle or foot.
